ORPHANS: Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress. James 1:27
CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE: There are 127,000 legal orphans in the U.S. foster care system. There are 300,000 churches. Why are there still orphans in America?
THOSE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS: “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40
GENOCIDE: “Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. If you say, “But we knew nothing about this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?” Proverbs 24:11-12
HUMAN TRAFFICKING: “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed.” Proverbs 31:8
THE ELDERLY: Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow. Isaiah 1:17
